American Idol: Next week belongs to ELVIS

The final four contestants for the 2006 season American Idol - Chris Daughtry, Elliott Yamin, Katherine McPhee and Taylor Hicks - are shooting at Graceland today. They will hook up with music industry executive Tommy Mottola for a mentoring session in the music room. Priscilla Presley and Lisa Marie Presley will join them. Watch American Idol on Tuesday 5/9 and Wednesday 5/10 as the Idols pay tribute to Elvis Presley.

Elvis is King at a SENIOR Prom

Residents of the Manor Care nursing home in Illinois enjoyed their second annual "senior prom" recently. They sipped champagne and socialized while the king and queen of the prom were announced.

"I can't think of a better place where I'd rather be queen than in here. The people are wonderful, the staff has been terrific and we're gonna have a big party today,” said Sandra Sekeres, the newly crowned queen.

The residents also enjoyed entertainment from none other than “The King” himself – Elvis Presley...a tribute artist, of course.

Presley + Parton = Tennesse Tourism

Country star DOLLY PARTON and late rock icon ELVIS PRESLEY have 'teamed up' to help boost tourism in their native Tennessee. Using the latest computer technology, tourism bosses have doctored a California driving scene from Presley's 1967 movie CLAMBAKE and replaced actress SHELLEY FABARES with country queen Parton. The clever ad bosses also turned Malibu's beachside background from the film into Tennessee countryside for the new TV commercial. In the clever ad, Parton chats with the King of Rock 'n' Roll as he takes her for a drive.

Actor KEVIN DILLON got ALL SHOOK UP in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday (22APR06) when he wed fiancee JANE STUART in an ELVIS PRESLEY-style 'quickie' ceremony. The couple became the latest celebrities to wed at one of Sin City's wedding chapels. Pregnant Stuart wore a white sleeveless dress, while Dillon, brother of MATT DILLON, donned jeans and a leather jacket for the 10-minute ceremony. Dillon's ENTOURAGE castmate KEVIN CONNOLLY served as a witness, while an Elvis impersonator sang three of The King's classics.
